This is a book about the life cycle of loggerhead turtles. My four year old daughter repeatedly chose this book to check out at our local library. We decided to buy it because it was such a favorite of hers. She even named her hermit crab loggerhead. The story is educational and entertaining. The length is perfect for her attention span. The illustrations are beautiful and soothing. It has even been able to gently introduce to our child the subject of the food chain without being too intimidating or scary. This is a "must read" for any child or classroom that is interested in animals.
