What a find to discover this series by Louise Penny. After reading The Cruelest Month, I passed it on to a dear friend. When I inquired as to if she enjoyed it, she replied that she loved it and immediately purchased all Louise Penny books. She in turn passed one on to a friend who did the same thing.
We all agree that if the character Chief Inspector Gamache was not already (fictionally speaking) married, we would be interested. And I am happily married!
