This book was obviously written by those who know of what they speak. It covers the development, current (1972), and predicted future of antitank weapons and techniques. I found it, like about every other Russian-written work I have read, tending to be a bit "chatty" and somewhat verbose. If, however, one is willing to dig deeply and patiently, there is a great deal of information available. A great deal is offered concerning Soviet AT warfare during WWII. This is actually what I was seeking. You will find some projections about battlefield nukes. If there is a better book about antitank warfare I have not yet found it. I truly, truly wish this were not the case. 155 pages. Some sketches that confuse about as much as they clarify. Interesting but probably unimportant......my copy, ordered as a used book, was published in the USSR.
