My 12 year old daughter loved this book, as did I. We both read it and it created a wonderful , in-depth conversation for us about moral ambiguity, what motivated the characters and why they did what they did, what truth is and how it can be viewed from many different angles, and what would you do if you were in the protagonists shoes? Just a terrific read. Not for younger than 12 as it does deal with some mature themes. I am not surprised that it won an award == I am surprised that someone hasn't made it into a movie yet!!
