look beyond presentation to find the truth
This book is written from a completely different perspective from the feminist one we have now.
Yet, the ideas are important. It's about virtue being the quality you present to a potential mate and that you look for in one...and then, how you come across as a desirable woman.
Since forming a family really is the one important thing people long for, why not listen to some wise advice, even if it's put in a way that seems ridiculous to us now?
Are we in the 21st century really so good at figuring these things out for ourselves?
This book is not as good as Fascinating Womanhood, which is a must-read for every married woman.
