Much has also been extracted from Old records and stray papers, liable to be lost or de stroyed ath'any time, the extraordinary historical value of which is strangely overlooked by those having them in charge. From all these sources as well as from Others I have drawn freely, and refer ence to them is made on the margins of pages where extracts from them are to be found.
