Some portions of Dr. Broadbent's work on Aphasia must be simply accepted and not criticised, but other portions are open to question. He belongs to a school of psychologists which manifests a tendency to break up the human mind into numerous faculties, with their corresponding cortical centres, and it is as the highest exponent of this school that his views are here singled out for adverse comment.
