30 years ago at a library old book sale, I bought this book for my 6 y/o daughter. We all loved it! When she moved out on her own she took it and I kept looking to buy another and now I found it. Any pet lover will relate to it, not just cat lovers. I'm so happy that The Fur Person came home again.

Love it!!!
I read this book for the 1st time over 25 years ago and I make it a point to read it annually because I enjoy it so much. I love the mind of Tom Jones as he goes through his life and experiences. Naturally, when I read it my cat is purring on my lap and we enjoy it together. This is my favorite book of all times. Light reading but oh so realistic into a cat's mind. My favorite part is when he see the toy mouse and gets ruffled because it is fake....but then, watch out.
