Green Troop is an international organization that was formed to educate students about environmental issues. Jason's good intentions of sticking to safe activities for the troop go out the window when a member of a junior troop, out on a nature hike, is struck by a vehicle driven by a chemical plant security guard. Together with three other troop members, he gathers evidence of an illegal plot to dispose of toxic chemicals into a river. He must summon all his courage to lead the troop to resist threats from plant security guards and their biker allies, as they gather evidence and attempt to stop these nefarious actors. Along the way he also finds the courage to express his feelings to Sandi, a troop member.
