Seller's Description:
Very Good in Very Good jacket. AK2-4 near fine cassettes in a very good cover/case that has an old price label, couple of blackened price, some discoloration and shelf wear. All the tapes have been listened completely and all the tapes are good. Unabridged. Over 11 hours and 30 minutes. A painstakingly accurate account of modern heroes and international adventure, this book is also a compelling picture of Iran in ferment just before the revolution that put Ayatollah Komeini in power.
The story itself is interesting and fascinating. However, for my taste, the author must have collected a lot of details and then dumped them into the book. The work could have been cut by 1/3 and been a better book. I began doing that when the book lagged, and it worked well.
However, the true adventure is exciting. The problem with the "Wings of Eagles" is the book had too many feathers to fly gracefully.
