Very good, good. 256, illus., notes, index, DJ somewhat worn and soiled. Foreword by Richard Maxwell Brown. A good history of the 1919 massacre in Centralia, WA. Several American Legionnaires were killed by members of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), or Wobblies. A Wobbly was subsequently lynched. A long trial ensued and the partisan bitterness from the violent episode continues even to this day.
