Since I bought this book for the BEST VETERINARIAN man or beast has ever known, Dr. J. Eubank of Globe, AZ I've been pleased with the many feedbacks from readers of James Herriot. He is a brilliant writer and keen on the scent or sense of what makes the love for our furry friends, or feathered, or scaly so universal and deeply rewarding. The tails or tales that need to be heard are written with whit and folly and bemuse our inner spirit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who know who they are, the stewards of our animal friends.

good book
This is a useful multi volume edition of James Herriot's first 6 books. These are the six books which were published in pairs as the three "All Creatures" series. Endlessly readable, they are the basis of the tv series of the early 1970s.
