They make friends with beggars, eat hashish candy, receive henna treatments from their prostitute neighbors, and travel with street entertainers. They latch onto the only words uttered by the boyfriend's mentally declining wife -- "hideous kinky" -- and turn them into magical words for game-playing. And in the midst of it all, they wrangle with basic issues of family.
