This is a great book full of wonderful photos, instrument histories, and anecdotes. If you are any sort of Beatles fan, whether musician or not, then you should have this book.
Granted, the instrument descriptions can get a bit overly detailed which might make things a bit difficult for the non-gear head reader, but Babiuk makes it pretty obvious when he is going to launch into a detailed analysis of Ludwig shell lacquers. Skip those if you are not interested. But do not pass this book by.
This is a history of the Beatles through their instruments. Read and enjoy.
