Both authors (Cundall and Morris) are well regarded. In fact, the late Leon Morris is my all-time favorite commentator. He is both scholarly and very readable. Often he presents the reasoning behind differing viewpoints. It isn't that easy to find thorough commentaries on Ruth.
My copy was old and somewhat yellowed, as you would expect given that it has been out of print.
