Thank God, someone finally wrote a book about the life and work of this wonderful writer, now almost forgotten.
The author has done a wonderful job of research, and presents a full picture of this great author. Wright deserves to be remembered better than he is, if only for being the author of The Shepherd of the Hills. Wright was so popular in the first half of the 20th century that his books sold in the millions of copies, and he became the first millionaire author. The critics, however, were mostly unkind to him. As the saying goes, nobody liked him but the public!
I encourage any and all Wright fans to read this. It is informative and inspirational.
