I do recommend Fourth Dawn to friends! I gave 15 of them as Christmas presents - given early because they can so beautifully prepare the heart for Christmas. Fourth Dawn stands alone but is part of an equally wonderful series. All Thoene books are meticulously researched then set in historical context in the midst of gripping stories.

This is the best series I've ever read! Each book makes you feel like you are right there, traveling with our Lord and Saviour.

Fourth Dawn
I thought this book was excellent. The Thoenes know how to bring the Bible to life. So far I've read all their Jerusalem books and they are all excellent. I was disappointed that I had to go to next book for the rest of the story but otherwise, it was great!
