This is a book that allows for so many stories to be touched upon that there are several companion books that could be written about any number of characters. The story gives full detail on many stories to enhance and entice. This is not a singular story and the twist of possibly more than one person who can be a murderer keeps one guessing. The characters are so integral with each other that the flow steadily moves through fast paced to the conclusion. Who does the murder(s)? Where do the people disappear to? Why would anyone want any of the people dead in the first place? This is a great story that lends itself to so many ideas and thories that the ultimate answer is an age old one and not expected until revealed. This is a must read from Jackson who manages to maintain suspense within her romance novels while making it integral to the love story. I am a believer that her stories are plot driven and the romance is second while maintaining as a pointed part of the story. It is so easy to lose stories while trying to define the romances in novels. She seemingly (with ease) marries the two into her novels without sacrificing either throughout.
