Fair. Size: 11x10x1; Stated first printing. This is a difficult volume to evaluate. There is no d.j. and water damage to front board has also marred front matter. Within, however, in addition to the undamamged introd. by Hilton Kramer, among the 194 p photographs more than half are undamaged and unmarked, on strong, glossy, unaged paper, all suitable for framing. To be specific, the damaged pages (usually just at margins) run from pp. 97-150. Photos include poetic landscapes, architecture, portraits, nudes, genre scenes, documentary shots, travel (Paris, Venice), etc. 11" x 12". Extra postage.
