Good account of the final breakout from the Normandy beachhead by the Allied forces of WW2 against the German Wehrmacht. Plenty of detail about the planning and tactics used during the Cobra operation. Would have liked to see a little discussion of the aftermath and how the winning if the battle led to the drive to the Rhine River and the destruction and encirclement of the Germans in the Falaise Gap. But the book provided an overall good description.
