A.K. Best's book, Flyfishing with A.K. . not only gives very good advice, tactics and approaches that may be found elsewhere (Joe Brook's classic Trout Fishing comes to mind) and some ideas that are unique to A.K., but it has a wonderful flavor of A.K.'s personality which end up giving you an insight into the man as well as his passion for all aspects of flyfishing. I recommend it without reserve to all who would aspire to be competent flyfishers.
