Read The Hobbit back in 6th grade as required reading, I remember loving it so much as I was a LotR fans and watched the movies as a child. Now that I'm 21 I wanted to reread it and the collector edition one was one of the ones I purchased and wanted to keep in my collection.

...and back, again!
I first read The Hobbit (& the trilogy) in 1968 when in 8th grade.
I re-read The Hobbit in 1979 and again was completely captivated by the story.
Again, I read The Hobbit in 1993 and again the same response.
And so, in this 2011 I read AGAIN The Hobbit and was completely delighted that I STILL Love the Story!!
A well-worth read. A well-worth investment to buy a copy--new or used or collectable.
A well-worth RE-READ as well!
And there it is.

I am very pleased with this book! It is a timless classic that i enjoyed as a teen and was fortunate to read it as an adult. If u love being pulled into a story, then you will enjoy what Tolkien has to offer.
