Read this book 20 years ago, actually it was my first book I bought about the Civil War, when I visited Fredericksburg. This book contains the before, during, and after of the battle. I've read two books by Rhea, and he does an excellent job of making the reading interesting, and he keeps the story moving. Been to the battlefield twice, and am looking forward to a third.
