I have read this book carefully. I was contacted by the seller that he had spotted several notes that were not in the description. I decided to purchase the book anyway. It turns out that this book was from the personal library of the seller, a book that he used in preparation for the ministry. The notes were thorough and indeed priceless. I read and digested the matter contained in the text and notes, and after sitting through a sermon given by a young divinity student during our Pastor's absence ended up giving it to him. Even without the notes, Lectures to My Students written by the great Charles Haddon Spurgeon gives timeless advice to Pastors and would be Pastors. This book was a real treasure for all who are even interested in the ministry. The young man I gave the book to is bright well intentioned, but not ready for primetime. This book that he now owns will go a long way in preparing him for his calling. Any advice from Spurgeon, probably the finest preacher of his century is priceless and ageless.
