I was truly expecting a collection of funny stories that chronicled the life of this very funny man. Instead I felt the book was a dry account about a person who made it big because of the company he kept. It was endearing to read about his wife and parents but not much more. The whole read seemed to be done without much thought or organization. For someone who made so many laugh, I hardly cracked a smile.
