A Perfect read. You really must discover this new favorite book of yours!! After you read this book you will have set a new bar for excellent writing that other books just pale in comparison to. When you read it you will only want to read her next book, and you won't be able to get enough!

great read
Karen Marie Moning writes a wonderful story. Recommend reading this one, and the rest of her Highlander books.

just can't put it down!
Karen has done it again! Each one of her books takes you into a brilliant fantasy world, so effective that nothing can distract you. Adam is as seductive and deep as the previous lead characters in the series, and Gabby is easy to fall in love with. There is suspense, wonderful character development, and of course sexual tension. I definately give it five stars!

My Favourite Karen Marie Moning Highlander Book!
I haven't yet read all of Karen Marie Moning's Highlander novels, but of the five I have read, this was definately my favourite. In a couple of her other novels, I noticed a substantial pattern in which two books were essentially the same, but this one stands alone, and is superb. Adam Black appeared in the previous Highlander Novels, and in this one, he takes centre stage - after losing most of his powers and becoming a human. The novel focuses on his misadventures in the human realm, and is a needed breath of fresh air into this series. Note: It is not necessary to have read any previous Highlander novels to read this one (or most others).
