Excellent research on the period, good character development... a good read as his books always are.

Excellent Book
I have read the Patrick O'Brian series and after reading KYDD I was hooked on this new series by Julian Stockwin. I found Artermis to be a very good book and have just finished the third in the series which is Seaflower which was also excellent and have now ordered the next which is Mutiny. If one enjoys books about the British Navy and their wars with France, then you will enjoy these,
