'36 Yalta Boulevard' is another winning novel from Olen Steinhauer. After reading all of John Le Carre's masterpieces in spy fiction, I'd have to say that Steinhauer is his logical successor. This thrilling detective/cold war/ spy story has you hooked from the first line to the unexpected conclusion, and along the way makes you feel like you know the characters involved personally.
But, before you read this book, go back and read Steinhauer's "The Bridge of Sighs" and "The Confession", so that you get to know these characters from the beginning of this wonderful series.
