This book contains all the intricate details that would take thousands of hours to find online. I recommend anyone purchase this text if interested in learning more about infectious diseases but especially if studying for a medical specialty course. An example - Hantaviruses. It outlines different strains, what species is a carrier, geographic range, characteristics of, epidemiology of certain Hantavirus-caused syndromes, clinical features, pathogenesis, diagnosis of, managment, and prevention. It also goes into detail about which antibiotics are best used during the course of a specific infectious disease. You would be hard pressed to find a reference as thorough as this in relation to infectious diseases.
