This is an excellent book by one of my favorite authors. It has drama and an interesting story line which continues the plot from the first book in this series. Unlike all the other books I've read by this author (13+), the book plot does not stand alone and the reader is left at the end with an unfinished feeling. The next in the series won't come out until the spring, so there is a lot of time to lose interest or forget what was in the first two books. I wish Lauraine Snelling had done a better job of wrapping up each of the books in this series like she has done in all the others. That was a disaippointment to me and to those I've shared the book with.

Wonderful quick read
Whispers in the Wind is the second book in the Wild West Wind series by Lauraine Snelling. The book is about friends who were in a Wild West show and their treck to South Dakota and their new life there. The main character, Cassie, shoots and performs stunts with her horse and dog. They have to create a new life and the second book describes the struggles they face. The next book comes out next year and I cannot wati to read it!!!!
