This is an alphabet book intended to review the letters of the alphabet. This book falls short of providing text or illustrations that would capture the attention of young readers, which are the ones in need of an alphabet book. The illustrations are dull and overcrowded. The text to complicated and is written at a higher level that that of a 5, 6, or 7 year old. This book might be a good reference for older children who might have an assignment to create something like this for young students. As an early childhood educator I would not recommend this for an EC classroom nor would I recommend it to have in a home library.
