I used to read this book to my daughter when she was little,,a very sad storey but all too real in this day and age when our children are put off due to responsibilities of work and raised by the TV. Hahhah rises above it all with her imagination and gets the birthday of her deams...very similar to Good Night Moon in the inticasies in the illustration changes between pages. The artist is exceptiional in the capturing of the primate character with incredibly accurate and lifelike drawings....this is a pice of artwork in a childrens storey! ! !
