In this tale Archy is asked to investigate the perceived threats on the life of one of his fathers law clients. Archy gets to know the family and readers are introduced to a new character, a sweet old lady who happens to be a head doctor. Archy, as usual indulges in "knowing" females he runs into. OK, you want the real deal? I love the way Saunders writes. I get chuckle out of the vanacular of Archy. His fathers speech is amusing. I also appreciate the descriptions of food that occur, I gain weight just reading about what hes eating! The description of his wardrobe is priceless. He also makes many musical and literary references throughout the books. I love the plots, but the extra artistry and storytelling keep me coming back. McNally's Puzzle will pull at your heart strings as he gets attached to his father's client. If you love mysteries, food and laughter then the McNally series is for you!
