An interesting read into the beginnings of Vulcan lore. This one brings the beginnings of the story of Vulcan logic master, Surak, and the tale of how the first Romulans broke from their Vulcan traditions. A good look at the Vulcan society and its move toward the peace that characterizes the Vulcan people of Spock's time.
