Enjoyed the author's depiction of the personalities involved in designing the Constitution. He made it come alive as a living, breathing document composed by mere mortals with their own agendas, and many of them with strong personalities as well. Thankfully, they were able to compromise enough to get it signed, not an easy task as the author shows. An insightful, enjoyable read that helps you understand the basis of our government and why it was set up the way it was, warts and all.
