Liberate yourself and read this book!
Elizabeth Berg is a consistently fine writer and this new collection of short stories does not disappoint. The title story starts the collection off and is hilarious , poignant and yes... liberating. Berg's great asset is her ability to write as if you are listening to the smartest friend you know . Her voice is so authentic and true. This book has many funny moments and people will read it with a sense of recognition of the human foibles of themselves and others. If you like a writer who can tell a good story and who writes with humility, wit and a deep appreciation of humanity you will enjoy this book. Check it out.
