Coelho discovers the essence of LOVE in each of his book that i will call as the most enchanting and mesmerizing in terms of content and style. The best part of his writing is that his thoughts are perfectly knit, you never get confused, he expresses himself in the most comprehensible and lucid manner given that fact that all that he discusses his sometimes very esoteric and few people would find it some insane manifestation of personal experiences in terms of writing. But the truth is that there is an excellent insight in his thoughts about LIFE and LOVE. He can discuss the most taboo things in the most sacred way and none can call it sacrilege as his writing is morally correct. He put across his complicated philosophy in such a manner that readers find it very intelligent and easy to grasp. In this book he discusses the coexistence of LOVE and miracles. He says that spiritual experience is above all a practical experience of LOVE. Love is uncontrollable, LOVE is juggernaut, it is an impulsive force which is difficult to shackle, and the people who try to control their emotion eventually deceive themselves.Spiritual path can only be traveled through the daily experiences of LOVE. This book is all about surrender. Surrender in LOVE. If we are capable of LOVING that means we are nearer to GOD, we can feel a sense of communion with HIM. He has bestowed this beautiful feeling on us thereby we encounter LOVE in different phases of LIFE some pretend to be oblivious of that and some recognizes the knock from the angels of heaven who have come to levitate their soul , smear them with LOVE. Love is loosing oneself for something you think is worthy. Love is a cause and you become the effect. Love is like dam which if breaks inundate you completely, devastate you but that devastation is noble and enriching , ironically few people can only recognize this thing in their life and who does that really cherish life. We all are instruments which are used in the glory of love , en route on our sojourn of finding our LOVE which is inevitable and no matter we put effort or not, if we are destined to receive it , it embraces us soon. believe in miracles , people who believe in love , believe in miracles because miracles are all around us every day every moment. Pursue your dreams with optimism because they will come true some day and this conviction is being brought to you by faith. faith , some would call it an irrational concept but this is the most vital survive of human kind sine the inception of life. If we loose faith , we loose everything, faith is a bridge between life and death. The characters are very strong and you will feel a bit nostalgic and emotionally overwhelmed and that's the magic of Coehlo who drowns you deep in to the character with immaculately threaded thoughts. Story , i won't tell, have a great read.

love,life and religion
Like all of his books, Paulo Coehlo's By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept has a spiritual as well as a philosophical impact that appear in the poetic language that he uses. This is a novel about love, life and religion. It shows how human race can be spiritually transformed by love. This love is not necessary the one between man and woman; it is the love of God. However, the other kind of love between man and women also has its effect on people; it is for the sake of this love that Pilar gives up her previous life. She wants to be with her childhood friend (lover) so she forgets even abput her study. She has totally changed from within; she is ready to learn everything because of him. She has learned alot about religion especially the Catholic Church because he is involved in that world. The lesson that we learn here is how a person may sacrifice his entire future just to be with the one he/she loves. This is also true about her lover who at the end of the story sacrifices his power of curing and helping weak and sick people for the Mother Earth because he wants to be with Pilar knowing that if he chooses the other path he will be away from her. So love conqures and transcends everything. The story has many information about religion, so it is not only a love story, it is a book through which one can learn about religion and its history especially about the Catholic Church and its rituals. It is important to say that the characters of the story are fictitious and that it is narrated by Pilar.
