This book remains one of my all time favorites. It's a book of fiction about a woman who shares a past life with a highly historic individual. Erskine's descriptions of locations, characters thoughts and feelings are exemplorary. You can feel the cold and smell the rain. I've read it three times in five years! (I read A LOT) The mystery keeps mounting to a climatic ending.
