5 STARS I have empathy for this writer and his experience. My own experience ripped 'normalcy' from my life. Now.. Define 'normal'.

Not credible
There is an amusing anecdote about the author being assaulted by Mr. Peanut at a parade long ago. Or feeling threatened. Or something. Other than that, this book is very silly. No one doubts that individuals who claim abduction experiences are experiencing something. But that something is almost certainly sleep paralysis and/or psychological trauma. There's a reason the anecdotes are almost always late at night, in remote areas, while asleep, unverified and unverifiable with photos or third-party witness accounts. Yet Mr. Strieber doesn't even discuss sleep paralysis. Don't waste your time on this.

Interesting read
A fair and honest treatment of a controversial subject. The author approached the topic of UFO's as impartially as possible given his personal encounter with the unknown.

Taking 'Communion'
Communion is a beautiful description of a talented writer's descent into the unknown. He grapples with his own sanity as he discovers a reality that many would rather keep hidden. A beautifully-written and sensitive story that will make you question everything you believe is real.
