Great anti-hero series, a man who hardly recognizes the world he grew up in and tries to anesthize himself against it, but is pulled against his will into dealing with it - a world that, to his wealthy neighbors, is paradise itself.
The Hamptons makes a rich backdrop to the plight of a good man whose life has taken a wrong turn. Lots of good reading in this series!
