Besides Dale Carnegie, no other authors needed
In all truth, new motivational books out there are but a different deck of the same cards. It's about time we actually put into practice the principles stated by the originals instead of looking for the bigger better deal embedded in the new books frenzy. Again, no other authors are required. In regards to motivation and self help, Dr. Schwartz and Mr. Dale Carnegie are more than enough, anything else is to reiterate or maybe even for entertainment purposes only.

Well written and very practical.
This book has insight that is still very relevant and useful today. The principles and practical tips that the author gives are worth reading again and again. The analogies and stories he uses drives home his points of choosing to think positively and provides ways to re-train yourself to develop that habit. I liked this book because it had depth, great verbiage and strong applications to daily life. It's a powerful tool to use yourself and to pass these concepts down to your children.
