The Samantha Ryan series is worth reading for those who enjoy the serial format. Good character development, just enough of the forensic aspect of the work of the medical examiner, just enough mystery, not overly suspenseful but plot-driven, with a judicious handling of human relationships. Enjoyable, if hard to find all books in the series in the US. My library only carries a few, and those I bought used online came largely from UK libraries.
