If you've ever lived with a cat, you will love Slinky Malinki. In particular, the illustrations in this delightful picturebook make it worth a read. Slinky Malinki, adventurous feline (aka "bad cat") extraordinaire is a "collector." Unfortunately, all of the loot he accumulates neither belongs to him nor does he have the owners' permission to take it. In the end, he must suffer the consequences of his unbridled greed when his family discovers him tangled up in all of the things he's stolen on the front porch. Everything must go back and Slinky Malinki concludes that it's safer inside--at least for now.
