If an article not enumerated in the Catalogue is desired, be particular to give a full description, and if possible the price, when there is a choice of qualities or styles. Goods sent by mail, except such articles as are advertised free, will be charged with the postage, which must accompany the remittance. Goods ordered to be sent by express, C. O. D. (cash on delivery), will be charged with expense of collection on all bills under five dollars. Remittances may be made by postal order and checks, by bankers' drafts, by registered letter or by express. All goods are carefully packed, and can be transported safely, with careful handling, to any part of the country. They become the property of the purchaser when they leave the store; therefore for all delays or damages he must look to the transporters of the goods, who alone are legally responsible to their owner for their prompt and safe delivery. Goods are not insured except by request, and then always at the expense of the purchaser. Should there be any misunderstanding on our part in putting up an order, it will afford us pleasure to correct it, on receiving prompt notice of the same, as it is our desire to give entire satisfaction in every transaction. Attention to the foregoing hints, will enable us to fill all orders, large or small, as satisfactorily to the purchaser as though he were personally present.
