This volume of the monumental Flora of Australia deals with the vascular flora of Norfolk Island; Lord Howe island and their associated islets. Thus Norfolk Island includes Nepean and Philip Ilsands; while Lord Howe includes the Admiralty Group, Muttonbird Island, Blackburn (Rabbit) Island and Balls Pyramid. An introduction to the geography, climate, history of human habitation and vegetation is provided for each island. This volume including 136 families, 455 genera and 706 species and subspecific taxa was written almost entirely by Peter Green with several other contributors covering 3 genera.
