Queenie and Sister Bear
This is Queenie's introduction to the Berenstain Bears series, she reappears in several books. Queenie is shown to be new and popular. A city cub who all the other cubs want to be like. Sister Bear tries to mimic Queenie. Sister Bear just wants to jump rope and play jacks. With the help of Momma Bear all the cubs learn an important lesson on being themselves. I like how Queenie isn't a bad character. The other kids like her because she's new. Queenie wants to be liked so she continues to put on a show. Everyone in this book falls victim to peer pressure.
