Full of good humor, adventure, and family affectio
An excellent novel for children 9 to 12 years old, and adults who enjoy kid's fiction. Set in the late 1800s. Tells the story of a family of travelling performers on the trail to California in a covered wagon. At each town they perform a magic show. Full of good humor, adventure, and family affection.

Great Children's Book
I first read this book in the 5th grade and to this day, many years later, it remains my favorite book of all time. I try to read it atleast once a year and although the cover is long faded and the pages are torn and yellow, it has a special place in my heart. If you want to read a great book to your children, or read it for yourself, I would HIGHLY recommend it!
