Fear stalks our lives, in the press, on the television, over the airwaves, across the internet. Everywhere we go, someone somewhere is always watching. Waiting for the mistake that will reveal secrets, truths, lies, the real story or what they want to believe. No longer is anonymity a given right. Gabriel Corrigan is one such man. The system doesn't like it. It says that you cannot opt out, that you have to participate. And it will do whatever it takes to return Gabriel to the fold - alive or dead. He can run but he can't hide - forever...

I loved this book, almost as much as I loved the first. Its just, well, the ending. I won't give anything way, but I would recommend waiting to read it after the third one comes out this year. If you don't, you might just be kicking yourself just as I was....

Highly recommended
This is an very good sequal to The Traveller. Very exciting book. Hard to put down. He keeps the pot boiling. John Twelve Hawkes is an excellent writer leaving nothing to be desired in his descriptions. You must enjoy science fiction though, although he comes very close to reality in today's world.
