Kids solve a grown-up problem!
One of our favorite Munsch books. Why? The teacher lays down the limit without listening to why Amanda and Jeremiah are having a hard first day in kindergarten....and the kids figure out a very creative, sincere way to comply. When the teacher realizes their solution isn't what SHE had in mind, the kids remind her of the rules in kindergarten! A great reminder to let the kids figure it out sometimes- and let the grown-ups learn from it! (Nobody is mean or gets hurt in order to follow the rules! Hooray!)
