The book reads a little slow, but the descriptions are good. The writer can definitely paint pictures with words. My concern is that I'm only a few chapters into the book, and I've discovered at least two inaccurate facts. One with a neighborhood in Chicago, and the other with CSNY.

A Head Trip Down Memory Lane
Very well written travelogue that guides you down those twisted canyon roads of the 70's. Some tongue-in-cheekiness about a generation of artists who almost accidentally created a legacy of anthems and tunes that are still being covered by current performers. For those of us who survived the Age of Aquarius, it is a little nostalgic. For those readers who are interested in the historical roots of some of today's "retro" bands, it is simply a great read.
